The property nestles in the seclusion of the White Peak and is close to the villages of Alport and Youlgreave, famous for the Well-dressings, and unique to Derbyshire.

Chatsworth House , with it's Game Fair, in September,Horse Trials, performance car rallies, in June, and Christmas festivities, and the medieval Haddon Hall, famous for it's period film dramas, are within five miles. Calke Abbey and Kedleston Hall , film location for 'The Duchess,'are also close. 

Matlock with it's cable cars and Gulliver's Kingdom, Alton Towers , the Potteries and many other places of interest are nearby, not forgetting all the numerous festivals.

e.g the Well-dressings, Wirksworth, Ashbourne and Bakewell Music and Art Festival, Buxton 'Fringe', Bakewell Agricultural Show and Carnival,etc..

Walk across the fields and visit or climb Robin Hood Stride Rocks.

Visit the world renown Lathkill Dale, with it's endangered flora.

It can also be arranged for food and meals from Peak Cuisine to be waiting for you in the fridge.

Collection from the railway station and airport is available by chauffeured executive cars  leaving you to just pick up your bag, catch a flight and let us do the rest.

A Good House-Keeping Bond of £100- is required on a separate cheque,  or by BACS, which will be returned to you 2 weeks after departure after  ensuring no breakages have occurred .
